# KUKA LBR iiwa Setup for Architects

![KUKA iiwa setup at Department of Architecture, Design & Media Technology, Aalborg University](/files/-MMV9iAF4WO_OWhzMtVZ)

This guide is intended to outline and detail the processes to get a KUKA LBR iiwa up and running from scratch. It will guide the users to set up the robot(s) using Sunrise Workbench, Work Visual and finally getting ready for working with [KUKA|prc](https://www.robotsinarchitecture.org/kuka-prc) .

This guide is being developed by [Avishek Das](https://vbn.aau.dk/da/persons/144818). While this guide streamlines and gathers the steps in a single location, some of the parts has been collected from various sources e.g. [Robots in Architecture Forum](https://forum.robotsinarchitecture.org/index.php), System Integrator Manual by KUKA or YouTube channel of [Discovering Robotics](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUpAYPzgvBLT4q2r1JPZkcg).
