It is possible to remotely access the Sunrise Cabinet and control the using the virtual pendant using smartHMI.
To access it Go to Remote Desktop Connection and enter the robot IP. (Default 172.31.1.147)
Once the Connect button is clicked, it will prompt for a username and password combination.
Default User Name : KukaUser Default Password : 68kuka1secpw59
After this step you should be able to see the virtual pendant in smartHMI and can control the robot from there. IMPORTANT: You need to press the enabling keys in the physical pendant to enable motion from the smartHMI interface. Following screen should be displayed there.
We will be using this setup mostly for teaching purpose and often for monitoring. It is always a good idea to use the robot pendant for safety.
After this step, we will go back to Sunrise Workbench to transfer the project configuration in the robot controller and sync accordingly.
